I’m finally ready to share…
A shocking moment that I thought would never happen to me.
Rewind back to January which was about 6 months ago.
I had started my Daniel fast early this year and during this fast I was seeking guidance from God on what my next moves were going to be with my life.
This fast consisted of me just eating fruits, vegetables, and nuts so that I could completely focus and hear God.
Kept asking and asking God what I was supposed to do next and He never answered until one day he did.
And it definitely was not the answer I was looking for…
…..
Let me remind you – God had already told me what I needed to do previously before the fast but I was too stubborn to actually listen.
Not listening definitely cost me.
In the next couple of lines you’ll start to see why…
In the middle of my fast that lasted 21 days, I was fired from my job.
I was very embarrassed and I kept it to myself for a few days just so I could process what actually happened.
It was hard for me to read my word without bursting out into tears.
Because honestly I was low-key mad at God.
In my mind, “I’m like, WHY ME?”
Which is also the reason for my blog post 2 weeks ago.
After losing my job, I had accidentally stepped on my cat and he reflexed and dug his claws into the back of my leg. I didn’t actually feel it at the time but I immediately saw blood running down the back of my leg.
During this time, we were in the middle of a snowstorm so I couldn’t go to the doctor.
5 days went by and my leg started to get infected to the point where I couldn’t even walk.
And on top of that, I was reading the book of Job…
The fact that all of this was happening to me all at once while reading it was mind blowing.
…..
But that wasn’t all…
My air stopped working in my car.
At that point I was like, “Ok, what else is going to happen to me next?”
Prior to this I had already scheduled a vacation to Pennsylvania before I got fired.
So, I still decided to go even though I was low on money.
For more reasons that I will not disclose at this time.
During my stay in Pennsylvania, I was told that I had to move out of the place I was staying in Arkansas by March 25th and my flight didn’t land until March 22nd.
TALK ABOUT A TURN AROUND!
…..
2 flights later I landed and I couldn’t do anything but sleep.
Woke up the next morning and started packing and moving my stuff to the next place.
Fast forward I’m in the new place for roughly 3 weeks and I’m already being asked when I’m going to move out.
To me that what very stressful given I hadn’t been there very long.
I quickly found a new place to stay and within a 1 month of being there I had to move out again.
So let’s just say I was hopping from place to place.
Not a great feeling especially when I wasn’t stable enough to have my own place.
…..
So where was I?
OH!!!
I lost my job, my cat attacked my leg, air went out in my car, I moved from place to place…
And I almost forgot.
I got pulled over by the police after delivering a Instacart order because my taillight was out.
They asked for my license, registration, and insurance.
I had to let the them know that I didn’t have insurance on my car..
I kept praying to God that they would let me off with a warning and not take my car.
Thank God they didn’t take my car but they did slap me (not literally) with a $225 citation ticket that had to be paid in 2 weeks.
Y’all honestly God had to carry me after this one because it was literally one thing after another.
I was highly stressed but I still continued to follow him. He never allowed me to break because I was still doing the work he called me to do.
I was still being a light and exercising self control.
So even though I was and still am going through my Job season right now — I’m WINNING because God’s got me.
…..
I know y’all were hoping for some big announcement but nope! I just wanted to make a point.
That through any circumstance or what life may throw at us we can conquer it with Christ.
Because in the midst of me going through all that which I still didn’t go into full detail of what really happened — God still PROVIDED!
He still was right there beside me. He promised me that He would never leave me nor forsake me. (Hebrews 13:5)
And you know what? He didn’t.
GLORY TO HIS NAME!
I will forever live my life with the utmost intent to motivate sisters in Christ to become more bold in their walk with the Lord.
…..
In my suffering God was teaching me the whole time.
He was teaching me how to be bold for Him while enduring pain, grief, embarrassment, shame, and feeling unloved.
I like to say he was preparing me for battle — for what’s to come.
Though the real battle has been won already there is still work to be done.
Souls to be saved…
Businesses to be made…
Life to be lived…
Communities to be nurtured…
Churches to be built…
God has already went before me and I know he has big plans for my life.
So my Job season is about be changed to my WINNING SEASON..
…..
What season are you currently in right now?

This would be the greatest encouragement I’d need at this point. 🙏it gives me the strength to keep waiting. God is faithful
Amen 🙏🏽 God is faithful 🙌🏽 I’m glad that this was comforting and it took me awhile to want to share it. I know our testimonies are powerful and are meant to be shared with the world…
