Too Busy to Be Savvy

A girl like me still trying to make it.

And I can admit that I’ve been too embarrassed to say that I’ve been busy lately.

Too busy for my own Savvy Community

Too busy to push content and write blog posts.

And let’s just keep it REAL..

Yes, this is my business but right now it doesn’t pay my bills.

I’ve been focusing on my side hustles and working overtime.

My days are running together so much that I barely even see them.

Sometimes I have to check myself and think am I really being as SAVVY as I possibly can be?

Or am I running myself down and opening my body up to possible sickness down the road?

I’m stubborn so I chose to run myself down into the ground.

BUT!

I also had to realize that being savvy doesn’t always mean productivity.

SAVVINESS is what you make it!

Sometimes we forget to take care of ourselves to refuel our bodies.

To some of you this looks like pampering yourself, sitting on the couch watching TV, working out, or taking yourself out to eat.

For me — It is definitely all of the above.

And I plan to do every bit of it in November.

…..

Switching subjects real quick.

In my last post I talked about the Savvy Self-Care Workbook, and it is still set to be published in February.

So be on the lookout for it.

…..

Ok!

Back to taking care of ourselves…

Being BOLD isn’t just about standing out from the crowd or doing something courageous, but it is recognizing what our body needs and holding ourselves accountable for that need.

Meaning ACT ON IT…

Constantly nagging and complaining about things such as, “I’m tired” or “I need a break” doesn’t really do anything.

You are tired…

Ok!…

What are you going to do about it?

Keep complaining?

I think not…

Take a day off or a few hours from your busy schedule.

You’ll be surprised how much better you feel once you’ve done it.

…..

Over working yourself is NOT savvy.

It is the complete opposite and gives a negative outcome every single time because something is going to pay for it.

It could possibly be your body where your sleep is interrupted because you are constantly at work. You only go home to eat and sleep and then wake up again to go to work.

It could be your performance at work because you’re over working your body.

It could be your workouts due to lack of sleep.

All of this affects your mental and causes you to eat poorly.

Take it from me… I’ve experienced it!

Making sure that we are balanced all the way around is living that savvy, healthy lifestyle.

It ain’t all about pushing yourself to the limit or the highest peak but also being self-aware of what you need to be able to reach or achieve your goals.

And like I said earlier, if that is taking a break THEN TAKE THE BREAK!

Because everything will still be there when you get back. TRUST!

…..

This platform is still here to help you grow savvily, but it is also here to help you through times that you might not feel your savviest.

Remember that I’m always going to try my best to support my savvies.

I’m feeling the SAVVY URGE to get back up and on it.

So, let’s get it!

Savvy Us! On three!
